New Study Suggests Processed Foods Make You Eat More

View descriptionShare

It's no secret that processed foods are not good for you - but a new study finds that it's not just the high fat, sugar and salt content that wreaks havoc on your diet.

Dr. Scott Kahan with the director of the National Center for Weight and Wellness in Washington DC and a faculty member at the John Hopkins School of Public Health. He tells KCBS Radio anchors Jeff Bell and Patti Reising that while scientists don't understand exactly how it works, the amount of processed food you eat could have a bigger impact on your weight than the level of fat, sugar or carbs.
