When it comes to creating affordable housing and adapting to climate change, researchers say that mobile homes and manufactured housing are "a good solution with a bad reputation."
Experts say that while manufactured homes have a lot of advantages, the stigma of mobile home parks, as well a policies enacted because of that stigma, keep them severely under-utilized.
