Concern is mounting over Microplastics pervading our water supply, and with the huge amounts of snow piling up in the Sierra. Scientists at the Desert Institute in Reno are using the opportunity to analyze the snowpack and are finding that polluting microplastics are, in fact, embedded in these remote, pristine areas.
