Late on Saturday, a coalition comprising eight unions, representing a total of 75,000 Kaiser Permanente employees, announced that they have been unable to reach an agreement on a new contract with the company.
This situation now paves the way for what could potentially be the largest healthcare strike in U.S. history on Wednesday.
