As we continue to follow violent clashes breaking out between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian supporters at UCLA, demonstrations at campuses nationwide continue to grow and in some cases, erupt.
And the response has been different. At Columbia and at UCLA, police weren't called in until buildings were seized or physical violence broke out. At the University of Texas in Austin, law enforcement was quickly brought in to forcibly dismantle a protest encampment and make arrests, leading to over 50 people being taken into custody.
