Over the weekend, law enforcement officers in Marion, Kansas, carried out raids on both a local newspaper's office and a journalist's residence. The purpose of these raids was to investigate alleged breaches of a local restaurant owner's privacy, stemming from journalists acquiring details about her driving record.
However, the actions of police are causing concerns and raising alarms about potential infringements on press freedom.
