How a Kansas police raid exemplifies a national trend of attacks on free press

View descriptionShare

Over the weekend, law enforcement officers in Marion, Kansas, carried out raids on both a local newspaper's office and a journalist's residence. However, the actions of police are causing concerns and raising alarms about potential infringements on press freedom.

To help us dive deeper into this, KCBS Radio's Nikki Medoro and Eric Thomas spoke with Peter Laufer, Professor of Journalism at the University of Oregon.
