Here's why seeing a female doctor could be better for your health

It's no doubt that cancer drains patients unlike any other disease, but it also creates a uniquely difficult financial strain. 

After receiving a cancer diagnosis many patients either work from the hospital or quit entirely. 

And data shows the economic burden of cancer is getting worse in the U.S. due to sky high drug and medical costs pushing patients in debt.

The drink industry refers to them as functional beverages, which often contain ingredients like probiotics and hibiscus to boost energy, immunity, and mood. 

But new research is raising concerns about the health effects of these alternatives.
