You just heard on the CBS news update that former President Jimmy Carter is now in at home hospice care at 98 years old.
Carter, who was in office from 1977 to 1981, became a favorite of many households because of his friendly personality along with his underdog victory in the 1796 Presidential race when he defeated a host of higher-profile candidates with Carter only serving one term as governor of Georgia before his Presidency.
