The Sheriff’s Office says a man who tested positive for monkeypox in a San Francisco jail is being kept in isolation, in an effort to prevent the virus from spreading to other people. 

As KCBS Radio Kathy Novak, it is the first confirmed case of monkeypox in the San Francisco Jail system.
