Dozens of backpacks are being passed out to students in the East Bay today, as part of the Family Giving Tree program that you may recall KCBS Radio participated in earlier this month. 

As KCBS Radio news reporter Matt Bigler says so far over 20,000 backpacks have been donated for low income students.
