In the wake of the FBI raid of former president Donald Trump's Mar-o-Lago home, many of his supporters asserted that the move is an affront to our country's democracy. They're saying that this is an unprecedented attack, signaling a much worse-off Republic. 

But others argue just the opposite. Other democracies like France and South Korea have routinely held their nations highest leaders accountable for crimes. Many say that this is actually a sign our democracy is doing well and acting as intended.
