Eucalyptus tree falls on Oakland Zoo's aviary causing six birds to escape

Yesterday's storm that blew down trees all over the Bay Area also toppled several large trees on the Oakland Zoo grounds and tore the mesh of the Zoo's aviary. No animals were injured but six birds did escape and the zoo's animal care team is now working to corral them.
