A rare sighting of a wolverine in the Sierra Nevada has occurred, marking only the second such occurrence in the past 100 years.
This recent sighting is particularly notable as it is the only recorded instance of a single wolverine being observed since the period from 2008 to 2018, following a previous sighting in 1922.
