Drug overdose is the second leading cause of death among California mothers within the first year after delivery according to a new study from researchers at U-C Merced and Michigan State University. With pregnancy-related deaths  steadily increasing across the country,  KCBS Anchor Keith Menconi spoke with Sidra Goldman-Mellor, a psychiatric epidemiologist at UC Merced and co-author of the study.
