The Fentanyl crisis is on full display today.
In 2021 alone, there were nearly 6-thousand opioid overdose deaths.
It's the reason officials felt the need to declare a National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
As part of that, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that California has seized more than 7-thousand pounds and 3-and-a-half million pills of the synthetic opioid since January of this year.
