Data shows there are fewer US college students studying a foreign language, with a decline of over 16% between 2016 and 2021, the sharpest decline to date.
And as it turns out, that spells trouble for this country's national security, as fewer adults are entering the workforce with the capabilities needed in industries like National Defense.
