The California Department of Fish and Wildlife announced last week that the commercial Dungeness crab fishing season won’t open before the New Year.  The decision followed the discovery of a Pacific leatherback sea turtle becoming entangled and drowning in commercial crab gear. How long will the Humpback Whale and Endangered Sea Turtle Entanglements keep the Commercial Dungeness Crab Fishing Season in California on Hold?
