COVID school closures may have contributed to a spike in childhood RSV cases

San Francisco kept its kids out of public school for over a year during the pandemic lockdown, the longest of anywhere in the US. Now, doctors are exploring the possibility that this may have contributed to a spike in childhood RSV hospital cases in late 2022 and early 2023.
