The website 8-Chan - often associated with hate speech, and where the alleged El Paso gunman posted a manifesto -  is now offline. This comes after it's creator called for it to be shutdown and Cloudflare, the company who hosted the message board, removed it. 

New York Times Tech columnist Kevin Roose spoke with both 8-Chan's creator and Cloudfare's CEO. KCBS Radio's Stan Bunger and Susan Leigh Taylor spoke with him.

In what feels reminiscent of a Jurassic Park film, US Fish and Wildlife officials announced this week that two baby ferrets were cloned from cells frozen nearly four DECADES ago.

Scientists hope what we learn from this case can serve as the first step to helping endangered species stage a comeback.
