CDC Survey shows 4 percent of US adults 65 and older diagnosed with dementia and 13 percent rate increase to 13 percent for people 85 and up

According to a CDC report 4-percent of U.S. adults aged 65 and older have been diagnosed with dementia, with the rate increasing to 13-percent for those 85 and older. 

The survey revealed that dementia diagnoses are higher among individuals with less education and lower among those with college degrees.
