According to a CDC report 4-percent of U.S. adults aged 65 and older have been diagnosed with dementia, with the rate increasing to 13-percent for those 85 and older. 

The survey revealed that dementia diagnoses are higher among individuals with less education and lower among those with college degrees.

NASA Ames visitor center to reopen this weekend at Chabot

As we've been reporting, KCBS food and wine editor Narsai David passed away at the age of 87. 

Nasai was featured on KCBS sharing mouthwatering recipes of dishes, many of which were inspired by his Assyrian roots. Aside from his culinary expertise, he also gave back to the community as an active member of the Assyrian Aid Society of America and the Berkeley Community Fund

To hear more, KCBS Radio's Patti Reising and Bret Burkhart were joined by Susan Leigh Taylor, Former KCBS Radio morning anchor and longtime friend of Narsai.
