Bay Area Lawmakers in Washington have been busy proposing bills focusing on climate-related issues -- and some of these bills will have local impacts.. especially when it comes to transitioning jobs for people who work in fossil fuels, mitigating the impacts of extreme weather, and expanding renewable energy. 

And all of these initiatives take a lot of local support and effort in order to make them happen.
