Former advisor to President Donald Trump, Steve Bannon pled not guilty yesterday in a New York court to state charges of money laundering, conspiracy, and fraud, in relation to what prosecutors allege was an online scheme to raise money for the so-called "border wall" proposed between the US and Mexico. 

He got off on the same charges, but at a federal level, with a presidential pardon toward the end of Trump's term, however that does not protect him from state charges..
