The United States and our allies have agreed to dip into 60 million barrels of oil reserves to ease the effects of the Russian invasion into Ukraine on gas prices at home.
Half of that oil will come from the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve, with the other half from allies in Europe and Asia.
