Are Vitamins And Supplements A Waste Of Time?

We all know that getting your daily dose of vitamins is good for you.

But while millions of Americans regularly take vitamin supplements, decades of scientific research has failed to prove that getting your vitamins through a pill or supplement is doing much of anything. 

Dr. Joan Salge Blake is a clinical professor of health sciences and nutrition at Boston University, and she spoke to KCBS Radio's Rebecca Corral to weigh in on the debate.
