You know all those signs you see around the airport warning you to get a Real ID before it's too late? Well you might not need to rush. 

The Real ID act, first passed back in 2005, has been pushed back again and again, making many wonder if it will ever be implemented and if it's necessary at all.

To answer those questions and more, KCBS Radio's Eric Thomas and Margie Shafer spoke with Jim Harper, Senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, he studies digital privacy.
