Airline passengers increasingly upset about schedule disruptions, poor service

Air travel passengers are fed up with delays, cancellations and mistreatment by airlines, and they're making their frustrations known.

According to data released today by the U.S. Department of Transportation, complaints against airlines surged in 2023, marking the highest number since 2020.

For more on this, KCBS Radio's Bret Burkhart was joined by Teresa Murray, consumer watchdog director for the U.S. Public Interest Research Group.
