A Santa Clara Supervisor Opens Hers Doors To Homeless Student

Treasury officials announced today that the US will be imposing new sanctions on Iran, in retaliation for its attack against Israel.

This comes as the Biden Administration seeks an economic response to Tehran.. rather than a military one.

House Speaker Mike Johnson says he'll be pushing along his plan to put a series of foreign aid bills on the House Floor, which could put his job in jeopardy. 

The bills, giving about 95-billion dollars total in aid to Ukraine, Israel and the Indo-Pacific, have drawn sharp criticism from the party's hardliners who say border security measures need to be agreed upon first.

We know microplastics are cropping up in virtually every aspect of life, and now researchers are starting to get a better idea of what the effects of that could be. 

New research looking at about 250 patients found that the presence of microplastics in artery-clogging plaques was associated with a QUADROUPLED risk of heart attack, stroke or death.
