Facing a historic deficit, the Oakland City Council will meet today in hopes of closing its nearly $200 million budget gap.

Already facing a federal probe over allegations of antisemitism, Berkeley Unified is now under investigation for how it handled harassment against Arab, Muslim and Palestinian students.  

After three failed tries, the Antioch City Council voted unanimously in favor of a sideshow ordinance that would crack down on everyone involved.

Contra Costa County's community warning system has been found to be "inadequate" when it comes to notifying residents quickly enough in the event of a disaster.  

911 calls in one part of Contra Costa County are getting back to normal this morning after copper thieves disrupted that service for the second time this month. 

For the second year in a row, San Francisco was ranked as having some of the worst traffic in the country.
