Thomas joined the conversation as we discussed how we commit adultery when we allow these things to pull us away from God, because those “things” become our new god. Gary L. He has also authored several books, including “Sacred Pathways: 9 Ways to Connect With God.” We also flipped to James 4:4-8, where it says that friendship with the world makes us an enemy to God and that we must resist the devil and draw near to the Lord.
