Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our weekly theme, “Best of 1 Peter.” Grace Fox joined us to explain how knowing the characteristics of God can bring peace during difficult seasons and to remind us that He sees us, sustains us, and is enough. Grace has been a career missionary for more than 30 years, a popular Bible teacher at international women’s events, and an award-winning author, including “Names of God: Knowing Peace.” Dr. John Mabus joined us to unpack 1 Peter 4:7-11 and explain how believers can stay prayerful, love earnestly, and use their gifts to glorify God in hard places. Dr. Mabus is an Associate Professor of Applied Theology and Church Ministries at Moody Bible Institute and has served as a Navy Chaplain for 14 years. We then opened up the phone lines to hear from our listeners. We posed the question, "Who met you with Godly empathy during a difficult time in your life?” You can hear the highlights of today’s program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
