Today, on Karl and Crew, we wrapped up our weekly theme, "Under Pressure." We explored how pressure creates hope-filled people, and focused on Romans 5:1-5. Susie Larson joined us to talk about the hope God produces through suffering, explaining how endurance shapes character and how believers can actively fight painful memories with Scripture, gratitude, and the goodness of God. Susie is a well-known radio talk show host and podcaster of Susie Larson Live. Mike Tatlock joined us to talk about living with a compelling faith in a compromising culture, explaining how believers can hold to biblical truth without making agreements with false promises, while still responding to others with humility, compassion, and grace. Mike is the lead pastor at Grace Chapel church in Portland, Oregon, and is the author of “A Compelling Faith in a Comprising Culture.” We then opened up the phone lines to hear from our listeners. We posed the question, “What pressure did God free you from when you put your faith in God?” You can hear the highlights of today’s program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
