The Central Elections Committee has voted to disqualify Mansour Abbas’s Arab-majority Ra’am United Arab List party from running in next month's election.

The committee also disqualified the  Arab Balad party chair and Joint List No. 3 Sami Abu Shehadeh and  Joint List candidate, Hadash MK Ofer Cassif, approving a petition filed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party.

All the bans can still be overturned  by the Supreme Court.
