The October 7th attack and the ongoing war has brought to the forefront discussion of PTSD, how it can be identified and treated. A new form of PTSD treatment offered by medical provider Stella Israel treats PTSD not as an exclusively psychological issue, but one with physiological changes that can be reset. Its SGB treatment involves injection of a local anesthetic into a nerve bundle in the neck, serving to block PTSD symptoms. Stella Israel General Manager Jason Blankfield spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal.
