Invitations have been sent to participate in the international "Board of Peace" that is meant to govern Gaza temporarily as part of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in the Palestinian enclave, U.S. officials said.

The move  came after Washington on Wednesday said it was launching the second phase of Trump's Gaza ceasefire plan even as key elements of the first phase remain unfulfilled.
