During the wave of attacks in Tehran, a historic milestone was recorded in combat aviation: an 'Adir' F-35 aircraft of the Israeli Air Force shot down an Iranian fighter jet model 'Yak-130'. This is the first time in the world that a 'F-35' has shot down a manned fighter jet and the first shootdown in the Air Force in the past forty years. Reserve Lt.-Col. Danny Grossman, a former IAF F-4 navigator who was decorated for a mission involving the downing of an Iraqi fighter, said that it was the dream of every fighter pilot.
