For artist and poet Ruth Dorrit Yacoby, who lived and created in southern Israel, exposure to the desert elements was an integral part of her work. A new exhibition at the Askila Gallery in Jaffa presents her works, including some never shown before, in a path through pain to hope. Curator Etay Gabay spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal
