Jewish communities around the world have rushed to the aid of Israel since the outbreak of the war. The Jewish Federations in Canada, which together represent the third largest Jewish community in the world, have since the outbreak of the war raised over 100 million Canadian dollars for aid. Sara Mali Director General of the Jewish Federations of Canada/United Israel Appeal, told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the aid will go mainly to the city of Sderot, to the north and for the residents of the Gaza Strip periphery.(photo: Zara Brooks)
