The Knesset Constitution Committee has begun deliberations on advancing government-backed legislation to establish a politically-appointed commission of inquiry into the October 7 attack. Opposition lawmakers boycotted the session and bereaved families demonstrated outside the Knesset, calling instead for a state commission of inquiry.
