What to watch this week: No Sudden Move, Fear Street, The Forever Purge, Zola... and more!

View descriptionShare

This is a pretty big weekend for new streaming content, including No Sudden Move, a new heist movie from Steven Soderbergh on HBO Max, the first of a new horror trilogy, Fear Street Part 1: 1994, and the gleefully profane alternate animated history, America: The Motion Picture on Netflix. In theaters you've got Zola, a flashy new indie flick from A24 based on a viral twitter thread and The Forever Purge, the fifth and supposedly final film in that franchise.

Speaking of unorthodox source material, we round up a few good films that also got their start from non-traditional places.

And, finally: The latest movie news!

Here's most of the movies Bruce, Chris and Jared talk about with links to where you can stream them.

Just to be Nominated is hosted and produced by Chris Lay, the podcast operations manager for Lee, along with Bruce Miller, the editor of the Sioux City Journal, and Jared McNett, a reporter for the Globe Gazette in Mason City, Iowa.
