Joey had a great Father’s Day! His family got him some new fishing supplies and a mini fridge for gifts, and they all went to the movies, out to eat, and fishing!  We don’t know much about the actual soccer matches happening during the World Cup, but we love all of the foreigners’ videos of them discovering American things!   Karly is going to a speed dating event this weekend! Joey and Nancy think she needs to practice, so we will do that later this week.   Joey saw Toy Story 5 over the weekend and enjoyed it! Nancy admitted that she is not a big fan of the Toy Story franchise.   Hot Tea: Jelly Roll posted a video telling people to listen to Bunnie’s podcast if they want info about their divorce. Kraft brand is making a TSA friendly ranch kit so the foreigners can take some ranch home with them in their carry-on bags. A city in Ohio is having to “fire” their several thousand-dollar robot cop after a year of it making no arrests.   Joey’s wife tricked him into wearing the same shirt as about 20 other men at church on Sunday. He was very embarrassed by the whole thing, especially when someone made them take a group photo.   We’re having our first Community Crew event! We’re looking for 20 volunteers to help out at Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR) on Saturday, June 27th from 9am to 11am. This is a family-friendly event! Donuts and water will be provided! Tasks may include cleaning, sweeping, mucking dry lots, dusting, bringing up hay, pulling weeds, and other barn chores.  Lucky 7 for tickets to Dollywood’s Splash Country   A video is going viral of a man yelling at a father who had taken his two young daughters into the women’s bathroom of a gas station. The father explained that he made sure no one was in the bathroom before going in, and that he didn’t want his young girls in a men’s restroom. The other man was so angry that he called the police! Thankfully, the police, store manager, and most of the internet are all on the dad’s side.   Nancy is very ashamed of how she treated her 13-year-old son, Ben, over the weekend. He was trying to be goofy, and she got very mad at him and used some harsh words. She realized that she had been tired and hangry when that happened and felt terrible about it. She has apologized to him several times.   Amazon Prime Days are back starting tomorrow. Joey shared how to check prices to see if you are actually getting a good deal.  

Nancy was annoyed that she had to drive behind someone going 30mph in a 40mph zone. Joey washed his bed sheet yesterday, but he was too tired to get them out of the dryer, so he slept on the mattress pad.   Nancy tricked her son Ben into doing housework by saying she would let him go to baseball camp in Texas if he finished all the work. Joey mowed his lawn last night and found a piece of mulch in his hair when he went to bed. Nancy then peppered him with questions about his showering habits.   Several players on a high school lacrosse team were suspended after posting a picture of them holding cigars. Their moms tried to cover for them, saying the cigars were made of herbs and not the normal ingredients. That story did not work, and the students can’t play in the upcoming championship game.   Hot Tea: Jelly Roll’s daughter posted online and basically told people to mind their own business when it comes to Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s divorce. Did the mayor of New York confirm that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting married in New York? Several bears have been hit by cars on the interstate lately. She didn’t have enough cash bills, so she gave the seller 4 quarters to cover the last dollar. Zac Brown sang the National Anthem and one of the fighters proposed to his girlfriend.   The last living son of a Civil War veteran died last week. He was 101 years old. They have titles such as director, president, CEO, law partner, and district chief of staff for the house of representatives. Her title just says, “Business owner and on-air personality.” 

Joey and his wife hosted church bingo last night! They started out doing Bible words with each call but stopped after like five calls.   Karly went to a bungee fitness class last night and had a blast! However, she is in pain and bruised from the harness. She still plans to go back.   Europeans are arriving in the US for the World Cup and have been going viral for posts about them trying American things such as Waffle House and ranch dressing. Tim Allen wants to do a Home Improvement reboot, but the other boys are not available due to no longer acting or being in jail. A woman put her dogs ashes in her tattoo ink and got her eyeliner tatted.   An esthetician on TikTok had her client hold a harmonica in her mouth while getting a Brazilian wax. The sounds were hilarious! Joey had Nancy try something similar by making her hold the harmonica while he told her dad jokes.   We owe Billy Ray Cyrus an apology. We’ve been making fun of his raspy voice ever since he performed at the Liberty Ball last year. We had our first pizza tour event last night, and it was so fun! While there, our boss got offered something he wasn’t expecting...  Nancy sat near some kids at baseball games and was baffled by how many times they said the words “like” and “bro.”  Hot Tea: Taylor Swift had Tom Hanks and Tim Allen sign her VHS copy of Toy Story. Ella Langley shared a sweet message about the Gospel on stage over the weekend. A woman brought laxative laced brownies to a school board meeting for the board members.   Someone at the pizza tour mentioned that there was a magic shop a few doors down. Joey got excited and thought it was a shop for magicians that do card tricks and such. Turns out it is a witch shop that sells potions.   Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, put her kids in a bunch of summer camps, but now is stressed by having to drive them around everywhere all the time. He asked people to sign the petition to stop it being built due to the negative impacts it will have on the zoo.   Nancy might be getting braces back on her teeth.  Hot Tea: Morgan Wallen is getting a lot of hate for canceling his concert over the weekend. Joey’s kids have been begging to get on Duolingo to play the games. Joey’s just glad that they are learning something on it. Nancy has been playing a game called Yarn Fever. Karly has been playing Monopoly Go and the daily games on LinkedIn.   Nancy saw a sign for a laundry service that would pick up your clothes, wash and fold them, and bring them back. She thinks that Joey and his ADHD would love to do that job.   Hot Tea: Garth Brooks is reportedly looking to sell his music catalog for $2 billion.  Matt Damon revealed that he bartended in Knoxville in the 90s to prepare for a movie role. A passenger was restrained by another passenger, a Ju jitsu instructor, after trying to open the exit door and the cockpit door.   Joey has been having issues with his crawlspace and was super excited to buy a new dehumidifier for it. It came with an app to monitor the humidity levels, and he’s been checking it constantly. He’s spent an average of 15 minutes per day on the app.   Poop cruise round 2? He gave each item a backstory. Items included a rhinestone photo of Jesus, an ankle monitor, and 420 donuts.   Joey is thinking about staying in bed and breakfasts on vacation in New England but is worried about it. Cody Johnson responded to the hate comments about him killing a bear. A family ordered an urn off of Amazon, but it arrived already full of ashes.   Karly has been secretly going on dates without telling Joey and Nancy. Joey and Karly went to see Diamond Rio over the weekend, and the show was great. The drummer’s wife came up and recognized Joey from our social media videos.   Stores are starting to get digital price labels on their shelves, and people are convinced stores will start using dynamic pricing to raise prices.   Cargo shorts are back in style? TSA lines have been extremely long lately.   Joey got an alert on his phone that his mother-in-law had called 911. She found out that a root canal wouldn’t have helped her issue because her whole tooth was cracked! We aren’t even a week into summer break, and Joey’s kids are already bored. Joey asked Nancy about her summers on the horse farm as a kid.   Cocke County suffered from severe flash flooding yesterday. One woman lost her life and a lot of people had damage to their homes and cars. We talked to our buddy Waldo, who lives in Bybee, about his experience.   Hot Tea: Riley Green is getting ready to start coaching on The Voice with Queen Latifah and Kelly Clarkson. Trade Adkins once told his daughter’s boyfriend that he could kill him, and no one would ever know. Several months ago, a woman got a ticket for holding her phone in her right hand while driving. She fought the ticket because she literally doesn’t have a right hand – she's an amputee. Her case was finally dropped.   Joey had another ice cream cone problem at a drive thru. The workers always put their fingers inside the cone, and he has them remake it without touching it.   Nerd News! A rocket exploded during launch last night. NASA announced plans to make a moon base. Nancy saw a lady doing leg lifts against a tree in the median of a road.   Joey’s family did an escape game over the weekend where they competed against another group of people. They were annoyed to find out that the other group had done the game before! A dog somehow caused a gun to go off, and the bullet hit a woman in the arm.   Pizza Hut is changing some of their restaurants back to the retro versions from the 1990s. A bear was spotted in Joey’s neighborhood last week, so now he’s been on the lookout for one. This morning, he thought he saw a bear run away from a tractor trailer on the interstate. It wasn’t a bear... it was a tire from the truck that blew off.   Nancy is helping her daughter Emma design her new apartment and told her where she should put her bed. Emma said she didn’t want it to be like that, so she asked ChatGPT to design the room for her. It did it just like Nancy suggested, and now Emma loves it.   Hot Tea: Cody Johnson is getting some hate online for posting a photo of him posing with a grizzly bear he hunted in Alaska. Alan Jackson did a special performance on Memorial Day. A brawl broke out at a kindergarten graduation that resulted in an arrest and a woman with staples in her head.   The new smoking ban has passed in the City of Knoxville, so soon it will be illegal to smoke in establishments that are 21+. A radio station in London accidentally announced that King Charles died... he didn’t.  NASCAR driver Kyle Busch passed away yesterday at the age of 41. Nancy had a dream that she was moving out of an Airbnb all by herself while another family was moving in. He thought they meant his doctor’s water broke... she is not pregnant.   Joey was anxious about a public bathroom he had to go in. It was labeled as a “shared bathroom,” but it had two stalls inside. So he thinks it means both men and women could go in there at the same time?   Hot Tea: Eric Church and Tim McGraw helped get the Super Bowl to come to Nashville in 2030. While filming Marshalls and The Madison, the crews had to deal with rattlesnakes and use the bathroom in bushes. Police in France are warning drivers to watch out for drunk deer.  Joey's 9-year-old came home saying that Taylor Swift shot someone. She is debating whether to get the root canal or to have the tooth pulled.   Nerd News! An owl successfully received a feather transplant. You can now buy a spoon that will set your phone to “do not disturb” mode. Nancy’s mouth and jaw are still hurting from where she got a temporary crown at the dentist last week.   The last Monday Morning wakeup call of the school year with 9-year-old Carter  Nancy's husband stayed up until midnight to watch the Rousey vs Carano MMA fight and was very upset that it only lasted 17 seconds.   Hot Tea: Ella Langley took home all 7 ACM Awards that she was nominated for, and set a record for the most ACM awards won by an artist in one year. There is a rumor that Tom Cruise and Pamela Anderson are dating. A woman had her lawyer make sure she got to keep Netflix access after her divorce.   Joey had to go with his kids and nieces to Five Below to look for dumpling toys. They are all the rage with kids right now.   Joey tested a laughing challenge on Nancy to see how she could do.   Joey went fishing over the weekend and it was a disaster. His wife and son both caught fish at the same time. He was trying to help them both when his pole went flying into the water. A catfish has bit his line and swam away with his pole.   Nancy made a deal with her 19 year old that she would loan him $600 if he agreed to not ride his motorcylce.  

Nancy ended up in the middle of the chaos when the 11 Knox County Sherrif’s Office officers were arrested yesterday. It was all going down in the City County Building when she arrived for Zoning Commission.  Joey’s 9-year-old is obsessed with learning about how people died. Yesterday, he wanted to know how members of The Beach Boys died. Nancy thinks Joey needs to get in touch with Dr. Bass from the Body Farm to talk to his son.   Hot Tea: Lainey Wilson got married last weekend! The ACM Awards are on Sunday night in Las Vegas. A city has filed a lawsuit against a park director that authorized a helicopter landing at a public park for her daughter’s prom photos.   Nancy gave her commencement speech yesterday, and admits that Joey was right. Nancy got excited about it being Hump Day and got shut down by Joey and Karly. Joey went to his son’s chorus concert last night and was confused by a song about axolotls.   Karly saw a small child hanging out of a moving car’s window, waving and flipping people off. The kid was clearly not in a car seat or even buckled in at all. She wondered if she should have called the police or not.   Hot Tea: Ella Langley clapped back at a hate comment on TikTok. Maren Morris claimed that she never said she hated country music as a genre; she meant the country music industry. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are starring in a new TV show where they reference the fact that they might be half-brothers.   A teenager just graduated from law school and is already pursuing more degrees.   Joey saw a video of two semi-trucks that were blocking the interstate lanes. There was mold all over it. Now she wants them to order it for her.   A man jumped the security fences at the Denver airport, ran onto a runway, and was hit by a plane.   Monday Morning Wake Up Call with 12-Year-Old Marlee!  Joey took his kids to a fishing rodeo and misunderstood the rules.
