Joey and Nancy Full Show 11-3-26

Joey and Nancy kicked off Election Day trying to figure out the best time to vote and joked that this midterm election feels more like a presidential election because of all the attention and nonstop political ads.

Joey and Nancy talked about the tragic Florida private jet crash that killed nine people. Nancy shared her perspective as a former pilot, explained the mayday call, and discussed how icing conditions may have contributed to the crash.

DIY Joe returned after discovering that buying a toilet is way more complicated than he ever imagined. Joey went down a research rabbit hole involving bowl shapes, flush systems, comfort height, map scores, and even became convinced there might be some kind of toilet-handle Mandela Effect.

Nancy gave an update on her son Ben after he was caught on a Ring camera taking a Halloween candy bucket. Ben chose to apologize in person, and seeing a little girl at the house made him realize how wrong his actions were. Another kid involved in the incident ended up apologizing, too.

Hot Tea: Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson have reportedly ended their relationship after keeping the split quiet. Tim McGraw shut down rumors that he performed at Taylor Swift’s wedding, saying he simply attended as a guest. A Florida woman was arrested for DUI after trying to pay for a Taco Bell order with tampons and blowing nearly three times the legal limit.

The show debated whether political attack ads should be allowed to say almost anything and discussed how political speech receives broad First Amendment protections. Then they invited listeners to create their own 10-second “attack ads” about coworkers, spouses, bad drivers, and even Joey himself. Nancy took a few playful shots at Joey, callers piled on, and the segment eventually turned into everyone making attack ads about themselves.

Karly’s dad joined the show to give his review of Karly’s boyfriend Luke after meeting him at the family Halloween party. Patrick approved of Luke so far, praised his manners, and jokingly hinted that the traditional dad speech may still be coming.

Joey shared the story of an Arizona man who was literally picked up by a tornado while riding his bicycle home from the grocery store. The guy survived with only minor injuries. Joey contemplated whether riding a tornado would actually be kind of fun if it were guaranteed to be safe.

Group Therapy focused on a bride-to-be who wants to invite her cousin to the wedding but not the cousin’s destructive eight-year-old twin daughters. Listeners suggested everything from hiring a babysitter and creating a kids’ zone to simply accepting that family drama might last longer than any wedding-day chaos.
