You can give up on your new year’s resolutions now! It’s officially “Quitter’s Day.” 

Joey tried to spend some time alone in nature for some peace in quiet. He wanted to listen to nature sounds like birds and the wind, but he ended up hearing dogs barking, someone playing an oboe, and kids yelling instead.  

People are embracing analog trends this year to help them disconnect. These include writing handwritten letters, using a paper planner, and using an old alarm clock.  

Hot Tea: Zach Bryan’s new album includes some lyrics that seem to shade his ex-girlfriend. Tom Brady is getting backlash for doing a Pizza Hut commercial. A black bear has finally been removed from a man’s basement after it’s lived there since Thanksgiving.  

A girl found a grocery receipt from 1997 and compared the prices of items to their prices now. Everything is much more expensive now.  

Joey has been taking piano lessons for a full year now and wants to show his skills, but he is nervous.

My Strange Addiction is coming back to TV, and one episode is about a girl who snorts her food to eat it. It grosses us all out.

Karly went to a dance fitness class last night and loved it. Nancy wants to try one of the classes where you are connected to bungee cords.  

Nancy’s husband has started turning their trash bags inside out because “the seams are on the wrong side.” Nancy thinks he is crazy, but several people said they do it too.  

TN has released a list of some of the rejected aplications for personalized license plates. These included WHOADAM, AWW5HIT, KOWGRL1, and DINGUS. 

Hot Tea: Several celebrities are stuck in the Caribbean due to the airspace being closed from the Venezuela incident. Jelly Roll is considering removing his face tattoos. New technology in China has been installed that will make the frosted glass in bathroom stalls turn clear if it detects smoke. The country wants people to stop smoking in restrooms.

A woman in Canda is starting a “tuneless choir” for people who aren’t good at singing but love to do it. Nancy loved the idea and had people call to audition for her tuneless choir.  

Joey called his doctor’s office to make an appointment, and the lady was whispering to him. He was confused, so he whispered back. Then, he realized that she wasn’t whispering... she had laryngitis.  

In the 1950’s, people made predictions for the future (which is now). We went through some to see if they had come true or not.  

We posted the pledge of allegiance video on Facebook yesterday, and some people were not happy with our boss for not standing up. He came into the studio to defend himself.

Nancy thought it felt eerie on the way to work this morning, and she didn’t like it. Joey got a new ugly Christmas sweater on sale for $5 yesterday.  

Nancy sent her 13 year old to bed without dinner last night. He refused to eat the chicken pot pie that she cooked and was a total brat about it. She doesn’t think that she should have to cook him a separate dinner than the rest of the family. She and Joey reflect on how that would’ve never worked for them as kids.  

Hot Tea: Is Ella Langley dating Tucker Wetmore? Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have agreed in their divorce that neither party has to pay child support. A guy stole his ex girlfriend's car while she was giving birth to his baby. 

Joey geeked out over new inventions at the Consumer Electronic Show. 

Joey ended up ordering different shoes for his brother for Christmas, even after the drama. Then his brother sent him an e-giftcard for YouTube premium.

Joey is determined to lose weight by changing the way he eats and going to the gym. He got inspiration from hearing Jelly Roll talk about how he lost weight by treating it like a food addiction and changing his thought process on food.  

Apparently, some baby names are illegal in the US and other countries. Some examples from across the world are Tom, 007, III, and Tallulah Does The Hula From Hawaii.  

Someone texted Karly and accused her of having a secret boyfriend. They said they saw a picture of her kissing a guy... what they actually saw was a picture of Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes that Karly had shared on her social media.  

Nancy randomly did the pledge of allegiance during our staff meeting yesterday and our boss was not amused.
