Carlo Mombelli is a South African jazz bassist, composer, bandleader, author, and educator, regarded as one of the most innovative and influential voices in contemporary jazz.

The bassist and composer has recorded a new album "THE WORLD IS DANCING ON THE EDGE OF A CLIFF" and will be performing this music at the upcoming Cape Town international Jazz Festival. He talks all about it and more with Nothemba Madumo on Jazz And Beyond.
