This kind of like really threw me for a loop. My wife and I were looking to pay off the balance on our mortgage and we go to the bank and see what the payoff figures are. Then she tells me she has a secret stash of money that she's been building up over several years and she's willing to use it to pay off the mortgage. This was her "Get Out Quick" fund. I couldn't believe that she'd been hoarding money behind my back all this time. She told me to relax she's not going anywhere and every woman does this. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? - Marcus
