Episode 10 of EYE ON THE EAST VILLAGE features guest MAX WOLF FRIEDLICH, playwright of "JOB," now playing at The Connelly Theater on E. 4th Street. For the series' first co-production with Hi-Note Radio/Bar on Avenue B, guest Host and "Eye On The East Village" Producer Jason Charles sits down with the writer of The NY Times Critic's Pick "Job," which has already extended its run at the Connelly, due to popular demand, rave reviews and blowing up on TikTok and Instagram. The show debuted last fall at the Soho Playhouse, where it was extended twice, and moved to its current home in the East Village in January of 2024. The downtown native and accomplished theater creator talks about developing the show, his thoughts about why it has struck such a nerve with theatergoers, what inspired him to write this tale of therapy and the tech world, and much more!
"JOB" is playing at the Connelly Theater on East 4th Street between A & B, now through March 23rd. We will keep you posted on its next move, which we are sure will be very soon!
