Who we used to be is my new autog and it's a reflection on who the hell I was and where the hell I am now. I don't know. I mean, I write songs about real life and what's going on in my life at that at this particular stage. I'm a married man now, and so my muse is not the girl on the subway who I passed for one second in time, but my wife instead, And so I write, I can't just say you're beautiful to her, because she's not going to fall for that. And you've said that exactly many many times. So I have to write deeper, rich songs saying all the love that I ever needed, I got it from you. I uh, you know, we've been on a journey.
