The Crisis Multiplier

View descriptionShare

After finding out the true impact of being a woman under a changing climate, Executive Producer Bernadette Phương Nam Nguyễn has an emotional crisis.

Taking over the episode, Bernadette talks to PHD student the Monash University Center for Gender, Peace and Security Betty Bharka, her sister Lorraine and niece Agnes about why we need non-gendered solutions to a gendered climate crisis.

Just a quick note that this podcast was put together in 2021, so some of the stats have changed. However, obviously things haven’t gotten much better, and many of the stories you’re about to hear can be a way forward for change.
