Blog---September 15, 2025—9-10---It’s YOUR Business

Our It’s YOUR Business Show---covered a lot of subjects as we started a new week---and show 49-69. We actually started with Cameo Anders and Gary Popkes---Plains Commerce Bank. They are in-deed the planners-----and at this time where the economy has so many questions for so many different people---our listeners whether they be business, farmers, young or older married couples need someone they can ask.

Quite frankly----this has been a big challenge for so many people---and I do wish there were other financial institutions that were taking with us and other organizations---about people with questions having a place to go----and get help. This is an uncertain time for all generations---and we aren’t taking sides---but we are reaching out to provide you help. People that are answering the serious questions that could affect you and your family.

Gary and Cameo—answered all of my journalistic inquiries—designed to help you---or your family---or someone you know. Not taking political sides---but providing H-E-L-P!!!

We talked with Tyler Tordeson---Sioux Metro Alliance. Why you say? They are helping 17 communities working together. What a great idea for our villages and towns----hunting together, enjoying celebrations together---and supporting each other. Up coming----a look at the financials---- and the communities working together on dollars and cents.

At 9:31 in the show we visited with Dr. Berdahl---about an October 7th event----we know we are in September ---but this is one Dr. Berdahl and Dr. Thompson wanted us to include---in mid-September. You will hear more about this event as well as one that is a couple days later. The two ---are hard-working doctors—that help with the eyes. I’ve had a chance to visit with them thru the years—about what they do—who should be paying attention and making sure their eyes are in the best shape they can be. Yes between now and the first week in October—we’ll be talking more with doctors—and why you should consider it.

In our show around 9:40—Jordan Deffenbaugh---talked with us about the September 16th 4:30PM event at Full Circle Book Co-op for an important community conversation (and yes a POTLUCK) about reducing all forms of political violence in our area. After that they will do to the City Council Meeting at the Bookshop—and share with him how keeping an open mind a commitment to accountability is important. Mr. Deffenbaugh will join us on Wednesday to talk more about the reaction-and was accomplished.

Listen live to our show at 1320, 105.1, 107.9—use the KELO App—Streaming on line or just ask Alexa. Norm Anderson posts the podcast of the show ----and my job is to schedule the guests---prep for the topics---interview them----and then write this blog so you know what is in the show.
