Darren –good morning to you---I see the first thought out of your mouth would be like most of those in agriculture---lets talk about the harvest----and some of the wrinkles that are so important—like discolored soybean seeds----what would you tell us IS GOING ON???

--------------Darren-----------------

  1. And oh yes—you were sharing that corn fields are looking a little rough—in fact as Carolyn and I drove from Hartford to Sioux Falls—we saw stalks that looked like they had been punished for being green and were really muddy---wrinkled –and just not like we see that often in South Dakota and neighboring states---

What’s the Deal?-------You share it was the September rain that left the legacy of poor stalk quality in 2026---

-------------Darren---------------

I see you added that tillage and manure application is getting started again----and why would farmers make that kind of decision---?

-------------Darren---------------

How wide spread was the poor stalk quality—and when was the last year we saw something like this?

-------------Darren---------------

How and when can our listeners see you talking on a much wider scale?

-------------Darren----------------

We appreciate your look at the subject---certainly not our field look here in 2026…

Casey Crabtree---yes that guy that keeps a close eye on all that is going on in South Dakota---history of lawmaker—farmers—father---and answering questions I like to ask---
