(((From the Blackburn Studios in Downtown Sioux Falls—Welcome to It’s YOUR Business)))

(((MUSIC---THIS OLE HOUSE-----YEE HAH)))

I’m Bill Zortman and Welcome to our It’s YOUR Business Show---in this my retirement week---we will cover a lot of territory and events---in this 9-10 hour---before we give away to South Dakota Farm Bureau at 10---for their monthly show.

This it is my last week here after a long-long stay at 13th and Phillips with plenty of discussions----a business show first---and then about 9 years ago---the company added officially an Agri Business show.

The company came to me after I celebrated my 80th birthday----a month ago today---and shared that we would need to pick a date for me to go and enjoy my wife—my family and all that I have done as a broadcaster---here in Sioux Falls----with other stops in Sioux City, Iowa, Clovis, New Mexico, Amarillo, El Paso, and Midland Texas, Montgomery and Selma, Alabama, and Knoxville, Tennessee.

But Carolyn and I have stayed here the longest----living in nearby Hartford---and working at three stops here in Sioux Falls thru the years.

We will be taking some time to enjoy the start of the rest of our lives---and do some traveling to visit relatives—here-there and everywhere—but we will miss all the people we have worked with here----and the opportunity to talk to you a solid—mid-west audience.

We start with Casey Crabtree this morning----who has quite the event coming up this morning-----

Thanks for being there---and even getting hair combed up for all those television appearances……

When we come back---we’ve told you about it before---but we’ll do it one more time------those outdoors men and women will want to know what to expect---- with quite the event----

Yes, trying to get the mayor of Garretson to join today. Bruce Brown is his name. He’s a local town historian and has been mayor for a little more than 2 years. Garretson has a main street revitalization program underway, renovating city hall, newly expanded grocery store, and plenty of other projects around town.

---tell us about Garretson----- and why we should be aware of all the things you are doing!!

Coming up in the 10:00 hour this morning----our good friends from South Dakota Farm Bureau---do their monthly show----

Agriculture of course is the #1 industry in South Dakota----and that is the reason our Agri Business Show was started almost a decade ago now.

We are fortunate ----to have so many caring leaders in South Dakota—and to me we get to talk to ---introduce to you---story lines that start with teens and may last for a long time.

Tomorrow---our Working on Wellness Wednesday Show---we already have medical leaders wanting to be a part of our last Wellness Wednesday Show—something that has been a joy to do for so many years-----

-------------for now---our time is up---thank you for yours….
